Proxmox VE.
Introduced safely.
Run with accountability.
Your vendor has changed the rules: prices, licensing model, roadmap. Proxmox VE is a solid answer to that. We assess the move with you, migrate from VMware or Hyper-V during live operations and then take responsibility for running it. Including where it gets serious: in regulated critical infrastructure and in OT environments.

Proxmox VE has grown up.
The question is not whether, but how.
Proxmox Virtual Environment is a complete open-source platform for enterprise virtualization: a KVM hypervisor and Linux containers, software-defined storage, software-defined networking and central management in the browser. Without a licensing model that dictates your planning.
Virtual machines and containers on one platform
KVM for virtual machines, Linux containers for light workloads. Both are managed together, and you assign resources flexibly.
High availability and live migration built in
Automatic failover in the cluster and live migration without interruption. Maintenance without standstill, outages without drama.
A storage stack without dogma
Local and fast with ZFS, classically shared over NFS or iSCSI and FC SAN, distributed with Ceph. Up to a fully hyper-converged build.
Backup and replication natively integrated
Backup and storage replication are built in and work directly with the Proxmox Backup Server. Restores are deduplicated and fast.
Software-defined networking and firewall
Software-defined networking and an integrated firewall at data center, node and VM level. You segment down to the single machine.
Open, auditable, European
Fully open source, developed in Austria, enterprise repository by subscription. No vendor lock-in, no license audits.
Two building blocks decide your resilience.
The platform carries operations. Whether you survive an outage is decided by storage and backup.
Distributed storage for high availability and geo-redundancy
Ceph spreads your data across nodes, rooms or sites and heals itself, with no dedicated SAN. If a disk, a server or a whole fire compartment fails, your operations carry on.
Geo-redundancy is not a storage topic. It is storage, network and data center working together. We plan all three as one, down to the fiber between your sites.
Design, build and monitoring of the Ceph services → Managed ProxmoxDeduplicated backups, hardened against ransomware
The Proxmox Backup Server backs up virtual machines, containers and physical hosts incrementally and deduplicated. You restore whole machines, single archives or single files, in minutes instead of hours.
Remote sync to a second site and protection against tampering make the backup the last line of defense that actually holds.
With us, restart is tested, not claimed → the recovery manual is part of the resultProxmox subscriptions. Procured and managed by us.
Every environment we take responsibility for runs on the stable enterprise repository from Proxmox, with dependable updates and security fixes. We pick the right tier together, based on how critical the environment is. Procurement, assignment and renewal are ours.
Basic
Access to the enterprise repository and vendor support with three support tickets a year. For environments whose operation lies entirely with us.
Per CPU socket and yearStandard
Enterprise repository, ten support tickets a year and remote support from the vendor over SSH. What we recommend under Managed Proxmox for business-critical clusters.
Recommended under Managed ProxmoxPremium
Enterprise repository, unlimited support tickets and remote support over SSH. For critical infrastructure and OT environments with the highest demands on vendor escalation.
For the highest criticalityAll three tiers are vendor subscriptions from Proxmox Server Solutions GmbH and are licensed per CPU socket. We give you the current terms in the initial call, together with the question of which tier your environment actually needs.
Plenty of people can install Proxmox.
We handle it where downtime is not an option.
The difference does not show in a test environment. It shows when regulations apply and production is running: in organizations under critical-infrastructure rules and in OT environments where virtualization carries production lines, control rooms and process technology. How we harden Proxmox VE for that and produce the evidence is set out on a page of its own.
What makes Proxmox different in regulated and production environments.
Regulated and production-near environments make demands that a standard installation does not answer.
We have worked for years in environments where one mistake stops the business. We bring that same care into every Proxmox transition.
From VMware or Hyper-V to Proxmox.
Without putting operations at risk.
Changing the hypervisor is a rebuild, not an update. For you it comes round every five to ten years, for us it is constant. Six phases you can commission one at a time, together with your team rather than around it.
What you have, where you stand on licensing, which options are realistic and what follows from them. At a fixed price, even if the answer is to stay. The result is the Migration Readiness Report.
Cluster design, storage concept with ZFS or Ceph, network, backup and restart. Sized for your availability targets.
The target environment is built, a proof of concept runs with your critical systems, load test and failover evidence before the first migration.
Your systems move in planned waves, the uncritical ones first. Each wave is signed off before the next one starts.
The cutover follows a script with a defined way back. The point of no return is set deliberately, never suffered.
Support until the agreed sign-off, plus documentation, a recovery manual and training. After that your team takes over, or we do.
Managed Proxmox.
Responsibility for the platform, not a helpdesk.
We take technical responsibility for running your Proxmox environment, on our hardware or on yours. Your team keeps authority over the systems above it and sees the next decision coming before it becomes urgent.
We are accountable for the platform. Applications and users stay with your team.
Operation with binding response times
Three service windows, from Monday to Friday up to around the clock. What the model covers, where the line of responsibility runs and what it costs is set out in full on its own page. Service levels and pricesHow a change runs with us.
A semiconductor group moves to Proxmox VE after the VMware price changes.
The virtualization moves into a company-owned data center in the same step. Sysfacts guides the proof of concept and the procurement and runs commissioning and technical sign-off together with the in-house experts. Plus six months of support with training.

Let's talk about your environment.
No pitch. 30 minutes on your licensing situation, your systems and your timeline. And on whether Proxmox will carry you. If it will not, we say so.
