You take responsibility for a subject, not just individual steps. You keep the outcome in view and support implementation. We agree your focus and responsibilities to match your experience.

    Understand and plan

    You clarify technical dependencies and develop an architecture with the team that fits the client’s operations.

  2. 02

    Build and change

    You configure systems, test migration methods and support the cutover. When hardware work is needed, you also work on site with the client.

  3. 03

    Operate and improve

    You investigate faults, keep platforms up to date and improve operating procedures. What works in practice informs the next project.

At Hanebutt, internal IT carried out the cutover. Sysfacts helped prepare it and remained available as a fallback.

What to know
before you apply.

We want your expectations to match the work. That is why we discuss work locations, client visits and responsibility openly.

Working together on equipment at a client site
WORKING TOGETHER ON SITE

Primarily desk-based.

Most tasks are carried out at a computer, in the office or from home. We work in a hybrid model and agree the balance to suit your role and responsibilities.

On site when needed.

Some tasks take us to our clients’ factories, data centres and other sites. These visits are part of the job, but travel remains moderate.

With the client team, not alongside it.

You work with internal IT experts and our specialists. Explaining technical decisions and sharing knowledge are as much part of the role as implementation.

Own a subject from start to finish.

We look for people who want responsibility: clarify a task, prepare decisions and follow implementation through into operations. You follow up on commitments, raise issues early and ask for support when needed.

Our core team works with an established network of internal and external experts. You do not need to cover every specialism yourself.
