INFRASTRUCTURE TRANSFORMATION

Data centre relocation

A site move involves more than transporting hardware. We plan connectivity, the target environment and the migration sequence together, then relocate your systems within the agreed timeframe.

YOUR STARTING POINT

What needs to be ready at the new site?

  1. 01

Which systems and data need to move together?

  2. 02

When will circuits, rack space and access actually be available?

  3. 03

What can be reused, and where does replacement make sense?

ARCHITECTURE · IMPLEMENTATION · OPERATIONS

What we take on.

Plan the site and the move

We assess requirements for capacity, connectivity, power and operations. Contract end dates, lead times and parallel running costs are part of the plan.

YOUR OUTCOME

An agreed relocation plan with technical prerequisites.

Prepare the target environment

We coordinate technical interfaces with operators and providers, set up infrastructure and test connections. Application dependencies determine the migration groups.

YOUR OUTCOME

A prepared target environment and tested transfer paths.

Relocate and complete

We carry out the move with your IT team, check applications, backup and monitoring, and update documentation. The old site is technically closed down after approval.

YOUR OUTCOME

Migrated systems and defined operations at the new site.

CLEAR BOUNDARIES

Relocation and modernisation can fit together. We also assess whether two separate steps reduce risk and time pressure. Not every change needs to happen in the same cutover window.

THE FIRST STEP

What is next for your IT?

We discuss your starting point, fixed deadlines and the responsibilities of your internal IT team. Together, we establish the contribution Sysfacts can make.

A short description is enough. You do not need technical documents for the initial enquiry.
